A DESIGN OF A STEEL STORAGE CONTAINER FOR POWDERED SECONDARY EXPLOSIVES.

Abstract

The report describes the design of a steel storage container which can be used in or near laboratories and offices to house safely 180 grams of powdered secondary explosives. The experimental procedure and the results of the test carried out to demonstrate the ability of the design to withstand an accidental detonation of the stored explosive are presented. (Author)
