Abstract
This author certificate describes a rotary pump operating with an anticavitational vorticity. In order to localize the vortex formation in the cavities between the impeller blades and thus increase the efficiency and anticavitation characteristics, an annular nozzle is mounted at the inlet, outlet, or at both the inlet and the outlet of the impeller passage to decrease the passage cross section area.
