ANALYSIS OF CELL SIZE OF BACTERIA.

Abstract

The principle objectives of the research were to set criteria for the establishment of steady state growth, and to follow the kinetics of growth at low bacterial densities. Modification of experimental design and data processing made the automatic sampling method originally proposed unnecessary. Results of research, technical developments and computation procedures are reported in detail. The program centers on the application of the conductometric measurement of volumes of bacteria suspended in electrolyte. (Author)
