ON THE QUESTION OF FURTHER IMPROVEMENT OF THE TECHNOLOGY OF PRODUCING DRY LIVE VACCINE (BRUCELLOSIS)

Abstract

As a result of the tests conducted in this report the following conditions are recommended: The original live vaccine should contain 12-15 milliard microbic bodies in 1 milliliter. The vaccine can be stored in a refrigerator (4-8C) for 1, 2 or 3 days before pouring out and should be poured before 3 hours. After pouring of the vaccine, it can be stored at -20 to -70 for 24-48 hours. During drying of the live brucellosis vaccine in chamber apparatus, additional heat should be applied after 10 hours, to attain a maximum of 25-27C. The humidity content should be 2-3%. The high frequency current of the vacuum in the ampules should be for less than 30 minutes.
