INVESTIGATION OF AN ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE SUPPORTED BY A LORENTZ FORCE (ISSLEDOVANIE ELEKTRICHESKOGO RAZRYADA, PODDERZHIVAEMOGO SILOI LORENTSA),

Abstract

There are given results of experiments with a flow of argon with an addition of cesium across a magnetic field in a disk channel, at the entrance of which there was produced preliminary ionization of cesium by means of an electric discharge. It is shown that in the volume of the disk channel there existed an annular electric discharge maintained by the azimuthal Lorentz force. (Author)
