Abstract

The paper takes up various problems attendant upon broadening of service band of balanced type cable particularly its crosstalk coupling loss: Measurements of crosstalk coupling loss of 50 KHz to 30 MHz of various balanced type cables now in use; On the basis of these crosstalk measurement results, the cause of crosstalk deterioration; and A new design method, based on the above studies, for balanced type cables of broadband transmission.
