NEW CONCEPTS IN THE FIELD OF AEROSOL RESEARCH,

Abstract

Contents: Continuous method of ultramicroscopic measurement of fractional concentrations of aerosols and of other dispersion systems; Formation of aerosols in mixture of vaporgaseous volumes of different temperature; New method for obtaining aerosols of high concentration; Theory of movement and growth of drops in the ascending current of non-or-supersaturated air vapors and its possible meteorological application; Theory of motion and growth of the heavy drop of the solution in the ascending air current; Coagulation of aerosols in presence of foreign vapors; Effect of vapors of extraneous substances on the form of particles and aerosol coagulation; Investigation of the causes of non-fusion of fluid drops in static conditions (during prolonged contact); Explanation of the mechanism of non-confluence of water drops during impact; and On diffusion and coagulation of aerosol particles in turbulant current in the atmosphere.
