OPTICAL STUDIES OF LATTICE VIBRATION IN 2-6 SEMICONDUCTING COMPOUNDS

Abstract

Parallel to the experimental investigations, theoretical studies have been developed and the dispersion relations calculated for some of the II-VI semiconductors compounds. The presence of foreign atoms leads to localized or resonants modes of vibration, which have been experimentally studied in many II- VI semiconductors compounds.
