THE INFLUENCE OF OLIGODYNAMIC SOLUTIONS OF SILVER ON MICROBES OF THE 'BRUCELLA' GROUP,
Abstract
Oligodynamic solutions of silver quickly kill the microbes of brucellosis. The bactericidal properties of the 'physiological silver solution,' are higher than those of 'silver water,' but the infusion of the physiological solution on silvered sand causes a more rapid wearing out than the latter. Investigations directed towards further knowledge of the mechanism of the bactericidal action of the oligodynamic solutions of silver and the practical use of these properties is necessary. (Author)
