THEORETICAL STUDIES IN ELEMENTARY PARTICLES, NUCLEAR AND LOW-TEMPERATURE PHYSICS.

Abstract

Research in theoretical physics has been performed in the following areas: electromagnetic and nuclear structure of H3 and He3; electron scattering from heavier nuclei including magnetic effects; giant magnetic quadrupole oscillations in nuclei; symmetry schemes in the classification of elementary particles and resonances; nucleon electromagnetic form factors and the pion-pion interaction; quark models of hadrons; new techniques in quantum field theory and some characteristics of the weak interaction; general relativity and gravitation; properties of quantized flux lines in superconductors and of vortices in liquid helium.
