Abstract

A summary is given of the work carried out over the three years covered by the contract. The subjects which have been treated are: Diagnostics and fundamental properties of gaseous discharges; Wave instabilities in gaseous discharges; Nonlinear wave interaction in gaseous discharges; Passive wave propagation and coupling problems in gaseous discharges; Diagnostics and fundamental properties of semiconductor plasmas; Wave instabilities in semiconductors; and Passive wave propagation in semiconductors.
