MAINTAINING THE CONFIDENCE OF SPACE CREWMEN IN THEIR LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEM,

Abstract

Detailed data on environmental parameters that must be controlled to maintain healthful conditions in a satellite cabin are presented. A display design that will indicate the condition of these parameters is proposed, and suggestions are made for instrumentation design included thereon. Ways and means of verifying the validity of the displays are discussed. Emergency backup for the environmental parameters is also proposed. (Author)
