EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF A SONIC TURBULENT BOUNDARY LAYER ON A PLATE WITH A BLAST,

Abstract

Experiments on the study of the effect of a uniform air blast on the profile of the velocity in a boundary layer were carried out on an instrument composed of a sonic aerodynamic tube with open working part in which the porous model is located. The instrument guaranteed a blast of air of a velocity up to 75 m./sec., and a temperature up to 600C at the discharge from the nozzle. (Author)
