GRINDING BY THE 'CRUSHTRUE' PROCESS.

Abstract

An evaluation was made to determine the feasibility and cost-reduction potential of a specialized process of grinding production parts. Parts were first blanked by rough machining and then crush-form ground. An equal number of parts were produced by present methods. A comparative evaluation of the 200 parts, 100 produced by each of the processes, was made. (Author)
