THE EFFECT OF TITANIUM ON THE PHASE COMPOSITION OF FERRITIC-AUSTENITIC STAINLESS STEEL,

Abstract

The effect of 0.4% titanium on the phase composition and mechanical properties of OKh18G8N2T stainless steel was studied. Steel samples were quenched from 1200C and aged to temperatures up to 900C. Impact strength, hardness and saturation magnetization were given as functions of tempering temperature; the addition of titanium did not change these properties. (Author)
