GEOS-B ANTENNA SYSTEM.

Abstract

The report documents the design, performance, fabrication, and flight acceptance tests of the GEOS-B antenna system. Measured data are included for the VHF-UHF wideband hemispherical spiral, nine-port multiplexer, S-band conical spiral, and C-band cavity helices. Simple theoretical models are included to yield an intuitive insight to the theory of the system; a bibliography aids those seeking detailed information. (Author)
