A MOBILE U.H.F. PATH LOSS MEASURING EQUIPMENT,

Abstract

The design, construction and performance of a radio path loss measuring equipment, for use at 806 MHz, is described. Path losses up to 171 dB (referred to isotropic radiators) may be measured to an estimated accuracy of plus or minus 2 dB. Pneumatically operated telescopic masts readily permit measurements at antenna heights up to 70 ft. (Author)
