HIGH-TEMPERATURE RIVETS.
Abstract
Rivets fabricated from R-235 nickel-base and L-605 cobalt-base alloys were driven hot and cold in the as-fabricated, annealed and aged conditions. Rivets driven hot were resistance heated and pressed on a spot welder. Shear yield, shear strength and studies of hole filling abilities were determined. (Author)
