AN OMNISPACE DISPLAY-CONTROL SYSTEM FOR ORBITAL VEHICLES,

Abstract

Suitable displays and controls are essential for manual operation and/or monitoring of any aero-space vehicle during orbital flight. The purpose of this report is to suggest one such integrated display and associated control system which offers unambiguous information to the human operator, enabling him to fullfill mission requirements with a minimum of effort and pre-requisite training. This display-control system was conceived in an effort to provide natural facility for both naive as well as trained human operators at a minimum of cost in terms of development time and complexity in display generation.
