THE CENTER VENT SHAPE,

Abstract

Existing computations and liquid/liquid model tests have demonstrated the general zero-g equilibrium configuration of the Centaur upper-stage fuel-tank ullage. This report contains calculations and some discussion of the effect of the Center-Vent tube on this ullage-bubble configuration. The equilibrium shape about a two-inch tube is calculated. (Author)
