Abstract

This report contains seven papers on theoretical studies and simulation experiments dealing with neutral networks. The papers include one on the sharpening mechanism of the hearing system; one dealing with a heuristic model for human visual perception and another summarizing some hardware experiments on the performance of the Tobermory Perception memory; a paper on studies of C-system memory models; two papers on reinforcement logic for majority decisions and for linear logic units in which more than two classification regions are permitted; and a slightly condensed version of a thesis on activity regulation in perceptions.
