ZOOLOGICOPARASITOLOGICAL CHARACTERIZATION OF A NATURAL FOCUS OF TULAREMIA IN THE FLOOD PLAIN OF THE MIDDLE COURSE OF THE IRTYSH RIVER

Abstract

The topographical classification of natural foci of tularemia has been elaborated with sufficient completeness for various regions in the Soviet Union. The flood plain territory of the River Irtysh where the tularemia focus is located is characterized by distinctive ecological conditions which cannot completely fit any one topographical zone. Here there is a great variety of microlandscapes with relief and vegetation characteristic of them.
