RESEARCH ON THE SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE APPROPRIATE PERIODS FOR SOWING WINTER WHEAT: I. CLIMATE AS RELATED TO APPROPRIATE PERIODS,

Abstract

The appropriate period for sowing winter wheat is closely related to the temperature condition. Through four to six years of study, the appropriate periods for sowing in the various different natural regions of Shensi Province have been clarified, and the factors relating to the determination of the appropriate sowing periods and problems relating to the morphological growth indices of the seedlings before the winter have been studied.
