Abstract

Photomap of the Moon's visible hemisphere compiled on the basis of original photographs received from native and foreign observatories, with additional materials from photographic atlases of the Moon. The chart was drawn in an oblique, positive, exterior, perspective projection with positive libration values in latitude and longitude close to the maximum, which creates conditions of visibility of the eastern limb zone. This zone connects the visible hempisphere with the western sector of the far side of the Moon, which was photographed by A.M.S. 'Luna 3' in 1959. (Author)
