COMPARATIVE STUDIES OF THE CATALYTIC FLUORINATION OF CARBON MONOXIDE WITH ELEMENTARY FLUORINE.

Abstract

AgF2 is a catalyst for the reaction, CO + F2 = CF2O and for subsequent changes in which COF2 reacts with fluorine to give CF3OF and CF3OOCF3. Cesium fluoride aids in the production of CF3OF but not CF3OOCF3 from fluorine and COF2. (Author)
