A SINUSOIDAL WAVE GENERATOR FOR DYNAMIC TESTING OF FLUIDIC ANALOG DEVICES.

Abstract

A sinusoidal wave generator capable of producing good quality waves up to 4000 hertz is presented. The design of the generator is given, to include signal generation and signal transmission. The generator is simple to operate and hence becomes a useful instrument for dynamic testing of fluidic analog devices and systems. In order to achieve the complete frequency range from 10 to 4000 hertz, two generators were constructed. Typical experimental results are presented. The range of pressure amplitudes generated was from 0 to 50 mm of mercury. (Author)
