A SIZE-SEPARATION COLLECTOR FOR SAMPLING AEROSOLS FROM CURVILINEAR FLOW

Abstract

In this report a description is given of a collector for sampling aerosol particles from a curvilinear flow and a method is suggested for analyzing the samples and obtaining distribution statistics. It is shown that the collector can be used to analyze aerosols with a minimum particle size 0.7- 0.8microns. The results of determination of distribution parameters agree with microphotographic data.
