TEMPERATURE STRENGTH OF ANTISCORING COATINGS AND PROTECTIVE LAYERS DURING FRICTION IN VARIOUS GAS MEDIA (TEMPERATURNAYA PROCHNOST PROTIVOZADIRNYKH POKRYTII I ZASHCHITNYKH SLOEV PRI TRENII V RAZLICHNYKH GAZOVYKH SREDAKH),

Abstract

An investigation was made of the antifriction properties and behavior of various protective and antispalling coatings in friction under high contact loads at a sliding velocity of 0.01 cm/sec and temperatures ranging from 20 to 700C in a vacuum of 0.0001-0.00001 mm Hg or in an inert gas under a pressure of 1.1 atm.
