USE OF CORES IN THE FABRICATION OF KIRKSITE STRETCH FORMS AND OTHER LARGE-SIZED KIRKSITE TOOLS.

Abstract

Kirksite stretch forms have previously been made without the use of cores. Completed forms are heavy, difficult to handle and machine; material costs are high. A method of making cores for Kirksite stretch forms was developed. Cored forms were successfully fabricated and a substantial over-all cost reduction was effected. (Author)
