CEREAL CROP SMUT

Abstract

Smut pathology was distributed in all areas in 1964. In the following we submit data on development of pathology in the different crops. Kernel smut (Tilletia caries Tul. and T. foetens Berks) was widespread in all zones of cultivation of winter wheat, but there was a decrease in degree of development of the disease, particularly in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones.
