GRASSMANN ANGLES OF CONVEX POLYTOPES.

Abstract

Using integration over Grassmann manifolds a family of numerical characteristics is associated with every convex polytope or polyhedral cone; special cases of the new characteristics are the much studied 'solid angles,' 'angle deficiencies,' and 'exterior angles'. Euler-type equations are established for the new entities, explaining the similarities previously noted in the special cases. (Author)
