DETERMINATION OF THE POSITION OF AN ARTIFICIAL SATELLITE BY SIMULTANEOUS OBSERVATION OF ITS TOPOCENTRIC DIRECTIONS FROM KNOWN STATIONS ON THE EARTH'S SURFACE (OPREDELENIE POLOZHENIYA ISKUSSTVENNOGO SPUTNIKA PO SINKHRONNYM NABLYUDENIYAM TOPOTSENTRICHESKIKH NAPRAVLENII NA NEGO S IZVESTNYKH PUNKTOV NA POVERKHNOSTI ZEMLI),

Abstract

The paper deals with the case of simultaneous observations of a satellite from three known stations on the earth's surface. The results may be easily generalized for the case of similar observations from more stations, as well as for that of observations from two stations only. (Author)
