RESULTS OF TESTING ELECTROMAGNETIC INDUCTION PUMPS FOR THE PUMPING OF SODIUM AND MERCURY,

Abstract

Electromagnetic induction pumps of the plane-linear type with a traveling magnetic field for sodium pumping at temperatures up to 700C and mercury pumping at temperature up to 100C have been produced. The construction of both pumps is similar and is described in some detail in the article. (Author)
