THE EXPANSION OF PLANE ONE-DIMENSIONAL WAVES UNDER SHOCK IN A PLASTIC MEDIUM,

Abstract

The report investigates the expansion of a shock wave in a medium which allows a variable condensation at the front of the wave. It is assumed that the shock wave arises under the influence of an instantaneously applied pressure which falls according to a set law. The speed of sound in the condensation medium is taken as constant or infinite. (Author)
