ONE-MEGAWATT AVERAGE-POWER MODULATOR.

Abstract

A one-megawatt average-power thyratron is being constructed and the facility for testing such a tube has been built. The dc power supply is designed to deliver 30 amperes at 40 kilovolts. Some flexibility in selecting operating parameters for the tube has been incorporated in the equipment. (Author)
