SELF-REPAIR THEORY INVESTIGATION.

Abstract

This is the seventh report from a study to develop a theory of self-repair in digital nets via fault diagnosis and automatic circuit replacement using the Sequential Prime Implicant Form for net representation as an analytical tool in net failure detection and diagnosis. This report discusses an improvement to the computer program being developed to implement the SPIF algorithm. It also discusses some new aspects of the SPIF covering use of nonresolved projections and concerning synthesis of redundancy. (Author)
