RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN AIRMAN QUALIFYING EXAMINATION AND ARMED FORCES QUALIFYING TEST NORMS,

Abstract

Relationships between armed forces qualifying test norms and airman qualifying examination norms were examined. While the norms are not in perfect agreement, the data suggest that they do not vary from each other to any sizable extent. Estimates (through Project TALENT data) of performance of 15-year-olds, 18-year-olds, and 12th graders were examined, and implications for military test norms were discussed. (Author)
