A STUDY OF ADHESIVE JOINT FAILURES BY EVAPORATIVE RATE ANALYSIS.

Abstract

Evaporative rate analyses using Carbon-14-tagged radioactive chemicals are used to identify the location of fracture in ruptured adhesive-bonded joints. Evidence is shown for both adhesive failure and adherend failure (surface layer failure). (Author)
