AN APPARATUS FOR PSYCHOPHYSICAL INVESTIGATIONS OF VISUAL PROCESSES IN SEMI-RESTRAINED CATS. DARK ADAPTATION IN THE CAT.

Abstract

In visual experiments with animals where a constant state of light adaptation is required, head restraint for the purpose of maintaining orientation toward the adapting field may be necessary. The report describes an apparatus designed to maintain a relatively fixed head orientation in cats when they are required to respond to a spot of light projected against an illuminated screen.
