ON THE FOURTH COEFFICIENT OF UNIVALENT FUNCTIONS WITH BOUNDED BOUNDARY ROTATION

Abstract

The coefficient problem for the fourth coefficient of a univalent function with bounded boundary rotation is completely solved. This is achieved by using the general conditions for the extremum function of a coefficient problem in this function class, which has been given in a previous paper by the authors. The main achievement in the present paper is to show that the extremum conditions together with a considerable amount of numerical work allows to determine the precise extremum value in this case.
