Abstract

The material consists of interviews and questionnaires from approximately 5,000 eighteen year old boys. The investigations were made by the Institute of Military Psychology and The Recruiting and Replacement Office of the Armed Forces. Of special interest are the comprehensive anonymous inquiries with 3,942 boys from the Stockholm area and 1,063 from the administrative district of Gavleborg. The difference in narcotic drug habits between the populations in the large city and in the province is pronounced. (Author)
