PERIODICITY IN THE AUTONOMIC DISCHARGE.
Abstract
During the present project it was shown that slow cyclic changes of blood flow and arterial pressure in spinal animals are accompanied by alterations of sympathetic nervous output to the vascular musculature with an identical cycle length. Furthermore, both the neural and pressure cycles are altered as a consequence of induced changes in arterial pressure. (Author)
