MATERIALS SCIENCES PROGRAM
Abstract
This report summarizes the extensive program of research in Materials Sciences at the University of Maryland during the period 1 July 1967 through 30 June 1968. Faculty from the Departments of Chemistry, Physics, Molecular Physics, Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering share this effort. The individual projects have been grouped into seven general areas of research. The faculty member responsible for each project is designated, and the sources of funds for a particular project are indicated. Lists of participating faculty, research associates, and graduate students are provided in subsequent sections. A complete listing is also given of the publications which have resulted from the research program.
