SPECIAL STUDY - FUNDS REQUIREMENTS VS. AVAILABILITY (LMI R3).

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to illustrate the use of the LMI (Logistic Management Indicator) in identifying the relationships between the financed and unfinanced portions of USAREUR budget programs for which the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics has staff responsibility, or which have a major impact on logistic programs. Additional relationships disclosed by the LMI consist of: (a) The relative amounts of direct obligation and reimbursable funds contained in the financed portion of each applicable budget program. (b) The proportion of the total financed portion of each applicable program required to meet Base Operations costs. (Author)
