SPECIAL STUDY - DEPOT STOCKS: CARE AND PRESERVATION STATUS (LMI S4).
Abstract
The Logistic Management Indicator sets forth the quarterly results of care and preservation - cyclic inspection results. The Indicator presents the total tons of depot stocks inspected during the reporting period (separated into (1) ammunition, and (2) stocks other than ammunition) and the percent of the total tons inspected which required care and preservation in storage. This percentage represents the degree to which the depot stocks are unsuitable for issue. (Author)
