DETERMINATION OF THE THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF LIQUID METAL SOLUTIONS AT HIGH TEMPERATURES.

Abstract

The transportation method was used to determine the vapor pressure of silver above pure liquid silver and above molten Ag-Si alloys in the temperature range of 1450 to 1600C. The experimental values of the vapor pressure of pure liquid silver were related to temperature and a complete thermodynamic description of liquid Ag-Si alloys was achieved. (Author)
