MILITARY VS. COMMERCIAL CARGO MOVEMENTS, AND COMMERCIAL MOVEMENT COSTS. LMI REF. NO. T2.
Abstract
This indicator measures the total tons moved by military linehaul (under commitment authority) and commercial transportation. It identifies separately that portion of the commercial transportation which is not military highway compatible and provides cost data on commercial highway movements. Additionally, data for commercial highway movements are stratified by long haul and short haul. (Author)
