Abstract
Class 1, 3 and 5 stocks provide the basic resources required for continued operation. There are major differences in the management of these classes of supplies, with staff responsibility for each class assigned to different offices. Therefore, the succeeding sections of this LMI guide have been broken into three major parts, one for each class of supply. For each part, the LMI provides the relationship between receipts, issues, assets and requirements over time. From these data, the position of the Command with relation to the supply status of these important commodities can be determined. (Author)
