DESIGN AND EVALUATION OF A HIGH TEMPERATURE RADIAL TURBINE.

Abstract

The detailed designs of the turbine rotor, nozzles, and backplate were completed; and checking of the drawings was started. Mechanical designs of the turbine-test and burner-test configurations were finalized. A contract modification to add a casting development effort to the program was proposed, and the casting vendor to perform the work was selected. Approximately 85% of the contractor-furnished tests parts were received, and installation of the contractor-furnished test facility was started. (Author)
