THE ENGINEER, WHAT SHOULD HE BE LIKE,

Abstract

The article considers the problem of the adequate technical competence of the engineering staff in industrial enterprises. The lack of adequately trained engineers has resulted in many negative effects on the quality and quantity of production. It is suggested that the larger industries should establish strong in-house training and educational programs which are comparable to the higher educational institutions, but oriented to the special requirements of the particular industry.
